"Clean, comfortable, quiet and great location”

We will be sad to leave the La Siesta Hotel and Spa after our five-day stay here in Hanoi. We followed a young family with a crying child who entered the adjacent hotel room. Once in our room, silence. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable. A little outside patio (in a viewless but fragrant airshaft) was a nice place to sit and relax after a day of sight seeing. Our address on Ma May St. was a short walk to most tourist attractions. On Friday and Saturday nights, the Old Quarter including Ma May St. are closed to cars so that the weekend street fair can take over. Mostly young local kids fill the streets and restaurants on Friday and Saturday nights. There are free performances of theater and music. The mood is a very happy one. The breakfast buffet had an extensive variety of food from pancakes, eggs Benedict, sushi, fresh spring rolls, fresh fruit (I am in love with dragon fruit.), breads, cheese, homemade yogurt, meats, etc. Service is a hallmark of the experience here at La Siesta, beginning with our hotel arrival. Our bags were taken immediately. We were given cold water, a cool washcloth and escorted to a lounge while reception processed our reservation. A bowl of delicious fruit appeared; dragon fruit, watermelon, lychee and mango. The bartender came over and performed a dance as he mixed our passion fruit welcome cocktail. Due to some confusion on our part, we arrived at the wrong location. We were at the La Siesta Diamond, one of 6 properties owned by the La Siesta group here in Hanoi. Our hotel was the La Siesta Hotel and Spa. No problem. The Diamond called our hotel to begin room prep. A cab was ordered and we were able to enter our room within 10 minutes of arrival. This was 11 am, an early check in. We had dinner at both the Red Bean restaurant at the Hotel and Spa as well as the La Siesta Trendy’s Red Bean rooftop restaurant. Both meals were delicious and the view of the city at Trendy’s was beautiful. Private cooking class - I

"Perfect Hotel, Amazing Staff.”

It doesn't get much better than Hanoi La Siesta Hotel and Spa in terms of staff service and friendliness. They made sure all of our needs were met, and they even helped us with our trip to Ha Long Bay. The rooms were beautiful, and as it was my wife's and my honeymoon, they upgraded us from standard double to a junior executive suite. Everything in the hotel was modern, and all standard amenities like shampoo, coffee, tea, and body soap were provided and refilled daily. The hotel was very convenient to everything in the Old Quarter; it was only a short walk from all the museums and temples in the French Quarter. Everything around the hotel was walkable and the hotel was close to good restaurants, an ingredient street, a silk street, a coffee street, and many other parts of Hanoi. Finally, the gym, which was on the third floor, had all of the standard equipment that you would expect, even if it was a bit small. A lot of the time, it wasn't that busy, which was nice. I'd recommend it to anyone from couples to families.

"Perfect Hotel in EVERY way”

There are a few La Siesta Hotels in Hanoi, we stayed at La Siesta on Ma May street for 3 nights in a Deluxe Double Room. The service started from the minute we were met at the airport and driven to the hotel in the EHG Airport Transfer. The staffs attentiveness and eagerness to ensure you are well informed and taken care of is felt the moment you enter the hotel, from the warm welcome, the arrival drink, fresh fruit and cold face cloth. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable (some have bath/shower combo so make sure your request if you want shower only). The buffet breakfast was delicious (the best one on our whole holiday). Everything is made fresh daily with a mixture of westernised and Vietnamese foods.. Hotel is in the perfect location in the Old Quarter. Close enough to walk to restaurants, bars etc (1 - 2 blocks), but far enough that you don't have noisy clubs outside to keep you awake.. Great Location. Great Price. 5 Star Service. 5 Star Hotel. Perfect in every way.
