Me and my dad went for a business trip. We actually stayed in budget hotel the day before but suddenly we found Carlton hotel was actually priced pretty much the same as the budget hotel we stayed using my agoda points. So we decided to make a sudden hotel change and yes our decision was spot on. The hotel is located just across Raffles City Mall and City Hall MRT (Green and Red Line), very convenient if you choose not to have breakfast at the hotel. The lobby is very crowded with business traveler as well as group traveler i suppose, but then the check in was easy. The room is modern not too small but not too big just about the right size for us, it has separate shower and toilet, comfy bed and the aircon temperature is just right. In conclusion, we will definitely come back either for business purpose or just hanging around in singapore!

I will definitely recommend Carlton Hotel Singapore to my local and overseas friends. We were staying in a Premier Club Room on Level 19. Very comfortable and clean room. Room was spacious. Bed was comfortable and we had a very good rest/sleep for 3 days. We really enjoyed the total privacy and quietness at the Premier Club Lounge on Level 19 (that's only accessible to Premier Club hotel customers). Loved the "prestige" atmosphere in Premier Club Lounge. Excellent for conducting business meetings (very quiet and professional settings). Premier Club room customers can simply check out inside the Premier Club Lounge on Level 19. We can also have late Check-Out Time until 3pm on our Check-Out Day. Excellent. Hotel staff - very professional and helpful and are readily available to help you with your questions. Check-in at the lobby was fast and very efficient. We were able to check into our Premier Club room in less than 5 mins. Location-wise: excellent! Within walking distances from/to City Hall MRT station, to eateries and Raffles City Shopping Mall, South Beach, Swissotel and Fairmont Hotels, Chimjes, Suntec shopping mall, etc. Very centralized location. Very easy and convenient to get around. All in all, I will definitely recommend Carlton Hotel to my overseas friends when they come to Singapore...Thanks!
"Great Hotel and perfect location”
The Carlton is situated beside the famous Raffles Hotel and directly across from Chijmes with its many restaurants and bars in this most unique setting, which up to the 80’s used to be an orphanage. Look out for old pictures of when it operated as an orphanage and ‘The Door of Hope’ directly opposite the Good Shepherd church, one of the oldest in Singapore. Three minutes walk from the hotel you can be in Raffles City shopping mall with access to City Hall MRT station. From Raffles City it is possible to walk along the underground shopping tunnel which leads to the Marina Area and the Concert hall and from there it is a 10 minute walk to the Casino and the iconic Sands Skypark Hotel. I have stayed at the Carlton on many occasions and without doubt it is, for me, the most ideally situated. If however, you just want to chill out then the hotel has all the amenities you will require. The swimming pool is a good size and on the fifth floor it is surprisingly peaceful being in such a central location. The rooms are pleasant and clean and the staff are genuinely helpful and pleasant. The Carlton will be definitely be my preference on my future visits to Singapore.
