"One of my favorite hotel in Jakarta ”
It's not located in the center part of Jakarta. The staffs are really friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel is quiet. I didn't try their breakfast buy my friend said that it needs improvement. I love how big and clean the apartment is and the kitchenette have full equipments. We used the laundry and it worked well. We will comeback to Somerset Berlian again.
"A luxury apt at a great value”
All in all we had a nice and pleasant stay. The location was strategic, but not situated on the main street, therefore it still feels homey. The unit was very spacious, I had 2 under 5's who enjoyed their stay there. The unit we stayed was definitely a occupied often by smokers. I would recommend Somerset Berlian to reach some kind of agreement with a taxi company, and have a taxi base nearby. Catching a taxi from there was quite difficult. I accidentally left my mobile phone charger when checking out, but was quickly located and returned to me. Turned out i've also left a piece of attire, and was returned although i haven't even realised that it was missing! Thankyou somerset berlian!
"Terrific Service Apartment for a Family”
somerset berlian jakarta was a brilliant experience for us as a family of 4. upon check in, we were pleasantly surprised with an instant upgrade to a 3 bedroom deluxe from a 2 bedroom exec which we thought was a very generous gesture on behalf of the management. reception staff were always friendly, efficient and courteous. the reception and lobby area had a modern fit out, impecabbly clean, spacious, brightly lit and well-organised. but what truly stood out were the hotel staff who were the epitome of indonesian hospitality and warmth. at 130sqm or 1,391 sq ft, the 3 bedroom was indeed spacious. rooms were very tidy and well furnished. layout was well thought out, with a spacious kitchen well stocked with cutlery and dinnerware. there was also a private laundry room with a washing machine /dryer and a generous sized maid's room (if you decide to bring along helper) which were hidden away from the main area. this apartment contained the usual amenities such as cable tv, fast cable broadband, lcd tv, well-lit rooms, quiet, big swimming pool, tennis court, good range of gym equipment, to the built-in oven, children's playground, outdoor gym and secured entrance on our second day, the air-conditioning in the master bedroom wasn't responding to the remote control. we called up the concierge, and received almost immediate response with 3 engineers rectifying the problem. it was fixed in less than 15 min. we ventured out on foot (a slow 10min walk) to a nearby mall where we found carrefour and guardian pharmacy and a mish mash of other local stores selling a variety of items. we have few issues with the stay as a whole, but areas of improvement would be the selection and quality of the breakfast buffet, and the painfully tasteless coffee. if only they'd provided authentic strong indonesian coffee, then that would've been a perfect stay. overall fantastic experience and looking forward to staying with them again!
