"Great location and lovely quiet rooms”
on arrival we did a double take as the foyer was far more majestic than we thought it would be for the price of the room. the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and then we set out on the adventure of finding our room. i say adventure because we went along several corridors and through numerous fire doors. this disappointed me until i saw the room. it was simply lovely with a queen and single bed,immaculately clean, a massive tv and divine ensuite. the icing on the cake, was the quietness. i have never had such a peaceful sleep in melbourne than at the victoria hotel.i will be certainly staying there every time i travel from now on.

We really enjoyed our stay the rooms were lovely and clean, well serviced and lots of hot water which is a bonus getting back to your room after having a big day shopping,eating and drinking all day. then get ready for your night out. loved Melbourne and staying at The Victoria was the best choice for price and location. the only down the parking was annoying if you didnt have your car back early on the weekend there was no parking and had to take to another parking station a couple of streets over. But we would still stay there again.

We had a weekend in Melbourne to catch up with friends, do some shopping and go to MCG for a football game. The Victoria Hotel was a great location for us (easy walking distance to everything), and the room was clean, fresh and good design to fit everything into a relatively small space (we were in a building with renovated rooms). The bathroom/shower was also worth noting - awesome shower head and very clean. And even though we were only level 1, we didn't hear any street noise. Overall, I would easily recommend and happy to stay again. Great value for money!
